MIAT Mongolian Airlines chooses SkyBreathe® to optimize its fuel efficiency program.

Buyant-Ukhaa, Mongolia – October 24th, 2023: MIAT Mongolian Airlines, Mongolian National Flag Carrier, is proud to announce that it has chosen SkyBreathe® 360°, OpenAirlines' world-leading fuel efficiency solution, to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This partnership enables the airline to join the growing community of SkyBreathe® users committed to reducing aviation's carbon footprint.

MIAT Mongolian Airlines' decision to partner with OpenAirlines is in line with its expansion plans abroad. The recent arrival of a 787 Dreamliner in its fleet has enabled the airline to expand its international network, including U.S. destinations expected from 2024. By adopting the SkyBreathe® software, MIAT can support its growth by facilitating its fuel management program across its entire fleet.

Powered by artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Big Data algorithms, the SkyBreathe® eco-flying platform analyzes thousands of fight data to identify several fuel-saving opportunities. This 360° tool can be used by various departments within an airline, from fuel managers to pilots, maintenance engineers, and dispatchers. All of them receive specific recommendations, helping them to reduce their total fuel consumption by up to 5% and achieve significant financial savings.

The app MyFuelCoach™ will also be available for the airlines’ pilots. This tool enables them to visualize their individual performance during flight briefings and debriefings. They can obtain detailed information on their fuel usage to make more informed decisions and limit fuel consumption and CO2 emissions on their flights.
