Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. To obtain B Corp Certification, OpenAirlines participated in the rigorous B Impact Assessment process, which evaluated everything from OpenAirlines' operations and business model impact on workers, community, environment, and customers to supply chain, charitable giving, and employee benefits. OpenAirlines secured an overall score of 92.1 in its B Impact Assessment, exceeding the minimum score of 80 needed to attain B Corp status (the average score for organizations assessed for B Corp status is 50 points).
